The first seven days: no washing
The coating needs time to cure after application. Do not wash the vehicle for seven days. If it gets dirty in that window, we would rather you call us than scrub it.
After day seven: safe-wash basics
Wash by hand with a clean microfiber mitt and a gentle car shampoo, rinse well, and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Avoid automatic washes with spinning brushes, dish soap and dirty towels, which can put swirls into the paint. Wash in the shade when you can so soap and water do not dry on the surface.
Bird droppings, bugs and water spots
Do not let bird droppings, bug splatter or hard-water spots bake on. Rinse or lift them gently as soon as you can; a coated surface is easier to clean, but it is not a reason to leave contamination sitting on the paint.
Maintenance washes
Tiger Auto Spa offers maintenance washes in the shop. They are a simple way to keep the coating clean and the vehicle on track with the care instructions in your written limited warranty.
Your written warranty comes first
Each 3-, 5- and 8-year package carries a written limited warranty with its own care requirements. If anything in a general guide differs from your warranty paperwork, follow the paperwork or ask us. Coating does not make paint scratch-proof.
